New community art project holds its first meeting

A group of Norwich based artists and crafters gathered at The Belvedere Centre in Norwich for the first meeting of the N ART 2 project, following our successful launch at our Easter Art & Craft Show.

In a lively and enthusiastic meeting we formalised the group's structure and came up with ideas for future events.

Our main aim is to bring artists and crafters together by holding monthly meetings where we can share skills as well as socialise.

Since the meeting we've set up a Facebook page and booked our next meeting, which will be on Wednesday 9th May at The Belvedere Centre (7.30 to 9.30pm. All welcome). There will be a "show and tell" to start the meeting, so please bring a piece of your work if you'd like to take part in this.

We are already looking towards a summer event to coincide with the opening of the centre's revamped garden.
